The light whites of summer are behind us...
You’ll find tropical fruit in KWV’s Grenache Blanc, but also pleasing weight in the mouth, and we’re bringing you a racy NZ Sauvignon Blanc from Kono. Basa is subtle but delightful and was the only wine on El Bulli’s wine list for 5 years. MV blends two of the Rhone valley’s white grapes (Marsanne and Viognier) - rich flavours and textures abound. Icare is voluptuous Chardonnay with beautifully balanced oak - genuinely comparable to white Burgundy at twice the price. Finally, an Appassimento Grillo from Sicily. that layers the dry raciness of the Grillo grape with flavours of nuts and raisins! Far more complex than any wine at this price should be, it already has a dedicated following in our shop!
