Sunday Roast Selection
Roast dinners present many flavours, including sauces and ‘extras’ such as stuffing. We’ve selected a real variety of flavoursome wines here to pair with all the roasting options - but don’t be blinkered! We’ve included a Pinot Noir that you can drink with chicken - you can even chill it slightly, and weightier whites like Viognier will go well with pork, so be bold and experiment!
This case contains 1 bottle each of the following;
1 x Chateau Malbat, Bordeaux, France
Totally dependable claret. Deep purple in colour with intense cassis and cherry aromas. Elegant and supple body with rounded plumminess and ripe tannins.
1 x Les Argelieres, Viognier, Pays d'Oc, France
Delightful fruit driven viognier full of juicy stone fruits and lovely crisp acidity keeping it fresh and a pleasant rich texture on the finish.
1 x Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC, Pontemagno, Italy
Brilliantly light and fresh in colour with delicious aromas of citrus and white peach and also a lovely floral element. Dry and crisp on the palate.
1 x Gustales Crianza Rioja, Bodegas Navajas, Rioja, Spain
Delightful rich ruby colour and soft plummy fruit with hints of vanilla. Wild strawberry and liquorice on the palate with good tannins and length.
1 x Icare Chardonnay, Cotes de Thongue, France
Beautiful rich style of chardonnay that defies its price. Tastes like top end white Burgundy. Plenty of rich creamy peach notes and buttery softness from deft use of oak. Good citrus acidity keeps it well balanced and the finish goes on and on.

Delicious, delicate and very fresh. Absolutely delicious chilled.
