Warm and spicy is the way forward at this time of year! This is a mixture of mainly medium-bodied wines to get you ready for the more robust wines of winter!
Fiercely independent wine maker Marilyn Lassaud has nailed it with her Cabernet Franc - despite being a lighter red grape it’s full of ripe berry flavours - very easy to drink. Patricio Gouguenheim’s Malbec is a little riper and darker, with spicy notes, and we’ve included a lighter style of Cabernet Sauvignon from Chilean producers Pato Torrente. A spicy Cotes du Rhone and a smoky, supple Rioja are perfect for sitting in front of the fire, and Amanti’s Primitivo bridges Autumn and Winter - dark and flavoursome but still bright and lively in the mouth!
